MARLENA KAPLAN, CPA, CFA

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Marlena is a financial executive with a strong track record optimizing processes across financial systems with a collaborative and analytical approach to client and partner engagement. She is a hands-on leader who has built and mentored teams of accounting and operations professionals. Most recently Marlena served as Chief Operating Officer and Global Head of Fund Operations for a multi-family office headquartered in Bahrain. Prior to that, she was a Managing Director with Blackstone’s Hedge Fund Solutions and Finance teams overseeing the fund accounting team and managing key third-party administrative relationships.

Marlena’s prior experience includes positions as CFO for Cantor Fitzgerald Investment Advisors and Cadogan Management and Product Specialist/Relationship Manager for Robeco Investment Management. Marlena received a BBA degree from Hofstra University and an MBA degree from Baruch College, City University of New York. Marlena is a Certified Public Accountant, has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and was an adjunct professor of Accountancy at Baruch College, City University of New York.
